The drawings in this section present a selection of Malik's pencil work, from small to large format. Some of these drawings are pulled from sketchbooks to present the level of skill in preliminary drafts, and some are finished pieces of great focus and precision. Malik focused much of her studies at Syracuse University in Figure Drawing classes, and continues her research post-graduation. She finds great strength in the medium, as it allows for refined intention and a unique grace- especially relevant to figure work.

This section also is home to a crayon drawing created as a tribute to coming home from living abroad. It is silly and she loves it.
